Doctor Who TV Show Review

I have so many television shows I love to watch, but really glad I started watching Doctor Who. Now granted it’s been going on for several seasons and since I wanted to understand it. I went back to where it all began and watched from there. I really have been enjoying this show a lot. I’m only in season 3 yet I have heard so many good things about the whole show in general, it makes it down right amazing. So David Tenant is by far my favorite Doctor Who, and I wish they never replaced him. I love the love story between him and Rose Tyler; it truly was always a star crossed love. This show really touched the Sci-Fi part of me. I love time travel shows and this show took it beyond that.

Doctor Who TV Show ReviewThis show has so much depth in it. It isn’t about just the fact he can jump time, but it also details that he is the last of the time lords, that his people and planet no longer exist. It touches an emotional level that he is the last of his kind, and although he looks human if and when he finds love he will always outlive them. It can be such a sad and touching story of his life, and what he has to sacrifice for people, he does love along the way. It also touches the aspect for the story of different aliens, who come across and have to fight to save the world.

I can’t speak for the all the people who played the doctor but David Tenant is pretty darn funny. That being said I usually don’t get British humor, and I find it be very dry and dull, but not with the doctor, especially the first 2 doctors were pretty funny.

I do believe it is a Sci-Fi show not like any other out there. It isn’t repetitive, and every episode gives you something more. From the era they are going to right down to crossing parallel universes, which can be quiet interesting. The only thing I hate about the show is him changing and him changing companions. I mean cause you fall in love with 2 actors and then after so long you know they are going to change them again which can be a bit annoying. I mean you can learn to love the next one but it just makes it aggravating. Like I’m still stuck on David Tenant and the Billie Piper, who played Rose Tyler, just being together forever they are my happy love story in the show. Anyways I think as long as people like some kind of Sci-Fi background, whether it be space shows, or time travel then I think you will fall in love with the doctor and his Tardis.
